Ghost Slider Card

Halloween Slider Card

This is not a beginner card more an intermediate card.  It is however very fun to do and with practice it will become easier.  I have broken the videos up to make it a bit easier to complete the card.
Hope you will try it and have fun with it.  I have a fun idea for a holiday one so be on the lookout for that one in the next month (or two).

Cut the following pieces:
Whisper White: 2 3/8” x 4”
Choice of card stock from Into the Woods: 5 ½” 8 ½”
Designer Series Paper: 3 ¾ x 4 ¾”
  1. Score Card stock at 4 ½” and ½”, crease folds.
  2. Lining up unscored edge measure 4 ¾” in and cut ¾” from top edge to 4 ¾” repeat step from 7 ¼” cutting the ¾ to 4 ¾”.
  3. Fold card base at score lines and punch an opening using the oval punch.  Punch ½ of the oval into front and back of card, centering along top edge.
  4. Stamp the piece of designer white paper with the trick or treat and spiders as shown in picture.  Adhere to card base in between two slits made.
  5. Cut the Designer Series Paper at 2” from one of the 3 ¾ sides (the 4 ¾” side should be at the top) cut to but not through the paper piece.
  6. Slide one end of the piece just cut into the slits made in the card base.  Secure the piece together using tape.  Make sure not to tape this down as this is the piece that will slide.
  7. Using tear and tape secure card base closed.
  8. With spare piece of whisper white, cut out the owl base.  Cut off the legs using scissors.  Turn upside down.  Cut out the eyes with a piece of black card stock, repeat with white and smallest circles.
  9. Secure white circles onto the black circles to complete the eyes and glue these onto the upside down owl to make a ghost.
  10. Glue ghost onto edge of designer paper as shown in picture.
  11. With your choice of ribbon and stapler secure ribbon to top edge of designer series paper.
