Ghost Slider Card

Halloween Slider Card

This is not a beginner card more an intermediate card.  It is however very fun to do and with practice it will become easier.  I have broken the videos up to make it a bit easier to complete the card.
Hope you will try it and have fun with it.  I have a fun idea for a holiday one so be on the lookout for that one in the next month (or two).

The Witch is finally in!

It took me a little while to pull this together as my back decided to go out of wack.  Seriously, I feel like a witch myself as I am walking hunched over with a limp and generally feel like I'm crooked.  And not in a good way!

Witch Hat treat Box

I was in such a Halloween mood that when I sent out a reminder for my club meeting I had the October host listed!  Thanks to the club members who quickly straightened me out!  We created three Halloween inspired items at our meeting this month.  Plenty of time for you to get started and have everything made well ahead of when the ghosts come calling!

I adapted the cutie pie thinlit for the bigshot into a cute witch's hat treat box.  Below you will find the list of items we used to create this and a link to the video.  Also below you will find the template for the witch hat.  You will want to print this out before starting.

  2. Using scissors cut out of black card stock a witches hat out of black card stock.  If you copy and past the witch hat template make sure the image size is set to 4.5" tall and 4.11 inches wide.  This will ensure that your hat is the correct dimensions.
  3. From the “A Little Something” die set select the smallest square and cut this out of the old olive from the into the woods paper packet.
  4. The “a little something” stamp and the whisper white ink pad stamp the old olive square previously cut out.
  5. Cut a strip of paper from the Designer Series Paper ½ “ wide by 5”.  Glue to brim/bottom of witch’s hat.  Trim with scissors.
  6.  From the Cutie pie set  and a piece of the razzleberry paper (cut in half) run through the big shot once with the “ric-rac” die.  Reverse the die and cut once more to create a full piece of “ric-rac”.
  7.  Using fine tip glue pen adhere the piece of razzleberry trim onto the hat, trim with scissors.
  8. Glue the “a little something . .” square to the hat.  Adhere the hat to the top of the triangle/cake box.

You will want to copy and paste this into a word document or photo editing software.  Once done make sure the height is set to 4.5" and the width to 4.11"

Words of Truth Pick me ups!

These would make great lunch box notes.  If you don't have school age kids I bed your hubby or boyfriend would love these too.  It is always so nice to receive a little note to know someone is thinking about you.
