Christmas In July!
This month my stamp club theme was Christmas in July!
It was so fun to get into the holiday spirit.
We created a holiday treat bag using the Sprinkles of Life Stamp set.

A tutorial on how to create the treat bag can be found here
The quality isn't quite what I want.  I am still trying to find the right way to take videos!
.
I have listed the materials to create this bag below.  Please contact me if I can help pulling together the items to create it.
Whisper White Card Stock (#100730): Split into two sections one 6" wide the remainder will be used for the smaller section of the treat bag.
Soft Sky Ink Pad (#131181)
Stamping Sponge (#101610)
Tip Top Taupe Ink Pad (#138325)
Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set (#139971)
Tree Builder Punch (#138295)
Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430)
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (#119685): You will need one strip of paper that is a hair smaller than 1" wide by 4 1/2" long.  This is used for the "Merry Merry" part of the bag.
Alphabet Rotary Stamp (#133769)
Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine  (# 123125)
Mini Stapler (#135847)

Happy Stamping!

Mirror Stamping

I played around with mirror stamping for our June stamping club meeting.  I wasn't totally thrilled with this technique but I believe it needs some fiddling to get it perfected.

For this card I pulled out a retired stamp set that I love and created a happy card using the Cherry on Top Designer Paper.  This is a really fun set of paper and can be found here on the Stampin' Up website.
The ingredients to put this together:
Card Base - White 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of paper cut in half and folded in half
scrap for bow
2" x 2" piece of tip top taupe
1 1/2 " square piece of white cardstock
3/4" x 4 1/4" strip of Cherry on Top Designer paper
3 x4 1/4" piece of Cherry on Top Designer paper
I used the coffee cup from A fitting Occasion stamp set.
Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe stamp pad
Blender Pen
Bow Punch

This is a quick card to put together and can be personalized with your choice of sentiment or can stand alone.  It really highlights the fun papers patterns.
A video tutorial can be found here!

Sprinkles of Life

This is one of three cards that we created in our June stamping club.  It uses the new Sprinkles of Life stamp set.

This was a fun card that I added Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up to.  It gives the jimmies a little shimmy! Plus our club had so much fun with it.

You will need the following to create this card:
One 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of cardstock (natural) cut in half and folded in half to create your card base.
1 piece of brown card stock (Tip Top Taupe/Baked Brown Sugar) 3 1/2 x 5"
1 piece of pink card stock (watermelon wonder) 3 x 4"
1 piece of natural card stock 2 3/4 x 3 3/4
1 scrap piece of green card stock (pistachio pudding or mint macaron)
1 scrap piece of brown card stock (baked brown sugar or tip top taupe)

Sprinkles of Life stamp set
Tip Top Taupe stamp pad (or other brown stamp pad)
Tag Punch
Tree maker Punch
Crystal Effects

Here is a brief video on putting this card together.  Come on back for more!

Bokeh Technique

Bokeh Technique!

This technique has been all over the place, or should I say Pinterest.  I had to try it as I love dabbling in watercolor.  Fair warning it is a bit addictive but is time consuming.  Oh and it is so very enjoyable with a friend or two!  Its amazing the different way it looks each time you do it.

Here is the supply list:
Water Color Paper - 4 3/4 X 3 1/2"
Black card stock  - 5 X 3 3/4"
Card Base (card stock) 8 1/2 X 5 1/2" (half of a 8 1/2 X 11" sheet, in this example I use Delightful Dijon)
Water Color Brush
Three Stamp pads - I used Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon.
Sponge Dauber
White Craft Ink Stamp Pad
Sentiment - I used "amaze me" from the Crazy About You stamp set and "you" from the Hello You Thinlits die cuts for the Big Shot.
Black Memento Ink Pad or Staz On Ink Pad

The tutorial for this can be found here.  This is only my second video. I am so new to this video stuff so this is unedited.  I also noticed I drift down to the bottom viewing area towards the end!  Will work on NOT doing that the next time!
